We had a good holiday break! It was a little stressful at times but overall really good this year. We spent a lot of time with family. We played games, went tubing in my parents back yard, and ate lots and lots of delicious food! (thanks mom)
Christmas was great. Lance got a gun . . . well a picture of his gun because we hadn't received it yet. I got lots of cute clothes, and Sami got a lot! Her big present this year was her kitchen, and it only took Santa from 11pm to 3am to put it all together! Way to go SANTA! ;-) (truly I never heard so many profanities coming from my husbands mouth! just kidding! although i did make the comment a few times that a man who builds houses for a living probably shouldn't have such a hard time putting together a plastic toy right?)
Anyway, I never had so much fun on Christmas morning as I did this year watching Sami open her presents! She was so cute oooohhh-ing and aaaahhh-ing over each gift, then playing with it for 10 minutes before opening the next and completely forgetting the previous! She's so funny. My mom made all the grand kids these overnight bags with pillow cases, pajama's, and quillows (don't know how to spell) with this cute poem about how now that they're older (the oldest is 5) they can come and start spending the night and have sleepovers. Well now Sam takes her "purse" (the overnight bag) along with her bedtime baby and moose with her whenever she goes anywhere. It's cute but I don't think my mom thought this through very well, 7 grandkids ranging in age from 2 to 5 (!?) What was she thinking? We're all going to hold to her it though! Good luck grandma and grandpa ;-) it should be interesting to say the least! (by the way we'll have our phones turned off that night just in case!)
New Years Eve was fun too. We went to my mom's and ate pizza's and played games until the kids were well done then we went home put sami down and had a movie night with just Lance and I. It was fun. We went back to my parents on New Years Day to have lunch with the family.
I wish I had more pictures! Especially of Sledding and Grandma and Grandpa's! They've had a blast every time we've done that. Shay and I too! (right shay?) Don't worry I was always very careful and I'm sure baby brudder will come out no more worse for the wear! I only fell a few times anyways and I was very careful to not fall on him! My butt was pretty sore though!
Well, anyway, here's some of the Christmas pictures I do have!
Enjoy!!
